UTAH LOCALS REGISTRATION

Locals Festival Passes and Ticket Packages Registration: September 22, 2009 - October 2, 2009

These registration windows are open to Utah locals 18 years and older only with proof of residency. You must present a valid Utah ID in-person at the time of purchase. If you do not have a Utah driver's license, you will be required to present a Utah utility bill accompanied by a legal photo ID.

LOCALS-ONLY FESTIVAL PASSES AND TICKET PACKAGES

NEW THIS YEAR: Locals may purchase a combination of up to four Festival Passes, Ticket Packages, and Official SFF10 Festival Credentials. Limit one type of Festival Pass, Ticket Package, or Festival Credential per transaction. Also, locals will have the opportunity to purchase several Festival Passes and Ticket Packages normally only offered during National Festival Pass and Ticket Package sales!

FILM LOVERS PACKAGE [All Week: Friday, January 22 - Sunday, January 31, 2010]

• Twelve tickets to screenings and/or panels in all locations. Limit four tickets per event.

SLC/OGDEN PREFERRED PACKAGE [All Week: Friday, January 22 - Sunday, January 31, 2010]

• Twenty tickets to screenings in Salt Lake City and Ogden only. Limit four tickets per screening.

LOCALS QUICK PASS [All Week: Friday, January 22 - Sunday, January 31, 2010]

• Admission for one to any Festival screening in Salt Lake City or Ogden.
• Includes admission for one to the Park City Opening Night Party on Thursday, January 21, 2010. A ticket is required for the Salt Lake City Gala second screening on January 22, and Locals Quick Pass Holders must RSVP to receive a ticket.
• Locals Quick Pass Holders may RSVP for a ticket to the second Salt Lake City Gala Screening on Friday, January 22, 2010. A ticket is required for this screening on January 22, and Locals Quick Pass Holders must RSVP by December 4, 2009 to receive one.

LOCALS-ONLY STUDENT PREFERRED PACKAGE* [All Week: Friday, January 22 - Sunday, January 31, 2010]

• Select a total of 20 tickets to screenings in Salt Lake City and Ogden only prior to Locals Weekend. Includes two Festival Credentials. Limit four tickets per screening.
• This program offers full-time undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled at a college or university in the state of Utah the opportunity to purchase a Locals-Only Student Preferred Package. Students will be required to provide a valid student ID upon collection of the ticket package.

SPECIAL OFFER FOR LOCALS IN 2010

Locals will also be able to have the FIRST opportunity to purchase a Package and a Pass normally offered through National Festival Pass and Ticket Package sales.

DISCOVERY PACKAGE [All Week: Friday, January 22 - Sunday, January 31, 2010]

• Ten tickets to screenings and/or panel discussions except for films in the "Premiere" category within the Ticket Package dates. Limit four tickets total per screening or panel discussion.
• Package Ticket selections will occur in early January before the Festival begins.
• Includes two Festival Credentials.

TICKET PACKAGE B [B Week: Wednesday, January 27 - Sunday, January 31, 2010]
$650 - No longer available.

• Twenty tickets to screenings and/or panel discussions with the Ticket Package dates. Limit four tickets total per screening or panel discussion.
• Ticket selections will occur in early January before the Festival begins. All tickets subject to availability.
• Includes admission for one to the Awards Night Party on Saturday, January 30, 2010 (MUST BE 21 to attend).
• Ticket Package B Holders may request one additional admission to the Awards Night Party, but must RSVP by December 4.
• Detailed instructions for ticket selection will be sent with Ticket Package confirmation.

EXPRESS PASS B [B Week: Wednesday, January 27 - Sunday, January 31, 2010]

• Admission to all panels and screenings at all theatres within the specified pass dates.
• Includes admission for one to the Awards Night Party on Saturday, January 30, 2010 (MUST BE 21 to attend).

FESTIVAL CREDENTIAL [All Week: Friday, January 22 - Sunday, January 31, 2010]

Purchase one credential which allows admission for the holder to the Sundance House at The Kimball Art Center, Filmmaker Lodge, New Frontier on Main, daytime admission to the Sundance ASCAP Music Café, and the Salt Lake City Café at the Beehive Tea Room. All Ticket Packages already include 2 credentials.

*Please Note - Each Credential Holder MUST BE 21 to enter the Sundance ASCAP Music Café; and special events held at the Filmmaker Lodge. No exceptions.

LOCALS-ONLY ADVANCE TICKET SALES

Ticket sales for Local Utah residents 18 and older will take place in person at the Main Box Offices the weekend of January 9-10, 2010 (prior to going on sale to the general public). You must register online to purchase Advance Individual Tickets at either the Park City or Salt Lake City Main Box Offices. Registration for the Park City Main Box Office is limited to residents of the following zip codes: 84017, 84024, 84032, 84033, 84036, 84049, 84055, 84060, 84061, 84068, 84082, 84098.

Please note, you will be required to present your Utah Driver's License or a Utah utility bill accompanied by a legal photo ID at the time of purchase. Ogden and the Sundance Resort will not require registration, but will also offer local ticket sales on January 9 ONLY for screenings at their locations only. The Ogden and Sundance Resort Main Box Office will be closed on January 10. Purchasers in Park City and Salt Lake City may obtain tickets to screenings in all locations. Tickets are $15 each.

You may purchase a maximum of 20 tickets, with a limit of four tickets per screening.

Registration does not guarantee a timeslot or ticket availability. Sales dates and times are randomly assigned by a computer at the end of the registration period. You will be required to purchase your tickets in person during your half-hour timeslot at either the Park City Main Box Office or the Salt Lake City Main Box Office. Locals-Only Advance Ticket purchases outside of assigned half-hour timeslots are not permitted. If you register for the Summit County Locals timeslots, but cannot show proof of residency in the valid zip codes, you will not be allowed to buy tickets during Locals Weekend in Park City. Another timeslot in Salt Lake City will not be provided.

Ogden (No need to register online!)

Sundance Resort (No need to register online!)

LOCALS INDIVIDUAL TICKET TERMS

Purchases and registrations are limited to Utah residents 18 and older.

Timeslot assignments are non-transferable.

Locals registration are limited to one registration per person. Your registered address must MATCH the address on the valid Utah ID that you present in-person at the time of purchase in January. P.O. box addresses are not accepted. If there is a mismatch, you will not be allowed to purchase tickets during Locals weekend.

Sundance reserves the right to cancel any duplicate reservations without notification.

Sundance reserves the right to prohibit any future sales during this Festival and in future years to any ticket buyer who is identified as an online auction ticket reseller.

BEST OF FEST TICKETS

Sundance Institute presents complimentary screenings of award-winning films following the Festival to Locals in Salt Lake, Park City, Sundance Resort, and Ogden. Screenings are FREE, and patrons must pick up tickets on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each Main Box Office (Park City, Salt Lake City, Sundance Resort, and Ogden) will hand out tickets for their local Best of Fest screenings. The Park City and Salt Lake City Main Box Offices will distribute these free tickets on January 16th and 17th, while Ogden and Sundance Resort will ONLY distribute tickets on January 16th. On the day of the show ONLY, any remaining Best of Fest tickets will be distributed at the actual theatre locations (Eccles, Rose Wagner, Sundance Resort, and Ogden Peery's Egyptian Theatre). There is a limit of two tickets per person per screening (with a maximum of four tickets total).
