LOCALS-ONLY FESTIVAL PASSES & TICKET PACKAGES

Utah Locals-Only Passes and Ticket Packages are once again on sale for the Sundance Film Festival! Locals-Only Passes and Ticket Packages are only available to Utah residents. Locals-Only Passes grant admission without the need to pre-select films and Ticket Packages provide Utahns with the opportunity to select screening tickets, based upon availability, prior to individual tickets going on sale.

2007 Local Package and Pass Registration

In order to purchase a Pass or Ticket Package, you must register online any time between September 12, 2006 9:00 AM (MST) and September 29, 2006 5:00 PM (MST) for a nominal fee of $5.00. There is no advantage to registering immediately on the first day of registration. Please note that Locals Pass/Package registration ends before the Public Pass/Package Registration. Registration as a Local does not qualify you for a public pass/package registration as well. After the close of online registration, you will receive an e-mail on October 4 with your assigned date and time to make your purchase during the second week of October. The e-mail will also include the web address and phone number for purchasing. Quantities are limited and registration does not guarantee availability. Dates and times are randomly assigned by a computer.

To ensure that Locals are truly receiving the local benefits, patrons will be required to show a valid Utah driver's license or a current Utah utility bill accompanied with a photo ID when picking up their pass/package. Express delivery will not be an option. The credit card used for purchases will be required to have a Utah billing address.

Film Lovers Package: January 19 – January 28, $195

12 Tickets (Regular screenings, Premieres and/or panel discussions) to any Festival screening

SLC Preferred Package: January 19 – January 28, $325

20 Tickets (Festival screenings) in Salt Lake City only

Locals Quick Pass: January 19 – January 28, $200

The Quick Pass admits you to any Festival screening in SLC or Ogden (except Opening Night screenings on January 19 at Rose Wagner).
Purchase open to all Utah residents.

LOCALS-ONLY, INDIVIDUAL TICKET SALES

We're excited about some further changes to the Locals box office procedures that will make tickets accessible to a wider range of film-going audiences.

Ticket sales for Local Utah residents 18 and older will take place during the weekend of January 6-7, 2007 at the Main Box Offices. For 2007, there will be a FREE online registration. Please note, you will be required to present your Utah Driver's License or a Utah utility bill accompanied with a photo ID at the time of purchase. Ogden and the Sundance Resort will also offer local ticket sales the same weekend, but for screenings at their locations only. Ogden and the Sundance Resort DO NOT require online registration. Purchasers in Park City and Salt Lake City may obtain tickets for films screening in any location.

In Salt Lake City or Park City:

Individual ticket sales registration will begin online December 11 and end December 29. Date, times, and locations for in person registration will be announced in November. Registration for advanced individual ticket sales will be FREE! Registration does not guarantee a time-slot or ticket availability. Sales dates and times are randomly assigned by a computer at the end of all registrations. Your assigned date may be January 6 or January 7 and will be emailed to you on January 3. You will be required to purchase your tickets in person during your half hour time slot at either the Park City Main Box Office or the Salt Lake City Main Box Office. Locals Individual Ticket purchases outside of assigned half hour time slots are not permitted.
There is no advantage to registering immediately on the first day of registration. Please note that Locals Ticket registration ends before the Public Individual Ticket Registration.
Return during your assigned time on January 6 or 7 (Saturday or Sunday) to purchase tickets at your designated Main Box Office.
Ticket prices are $15 each.
You may purchase a maximum of 20 tickets per person, with a limit of four per screening.
Purchase times at the Park City Main Box Office will be reserved for the residents who live in zip codes: 84017, 84024, 84032, 84033, 84036, 84049, 84055, 84060, 84061, 84068, 84082, 84098 (valid Utah Driver's License or photo ID and a Utah utility bill required to prove residency). If you register for the Summit County Locals time slots, but cannot show proof of residency in the valid zip codes, you will not be allowed to buy tickets during Locals Weekend in Park City. Another time slot in Salt Lake City will not be provided.
If you do not have a Utah drivers' license, you will be required to present a Utah utility bill accompanied with a legal photo ID (out-of-state driver's license). The address on your utility bill must match the address on your online registration.

In Ogden

(No need to register online!):

Time slot numbers will be distributed at 8:00 AM (MST) on January 6, 2007 to people waiting in queue. The time slot card will inform you when to return to the Box Office between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, January 6 or 7 to make your purchase. Patrons in Ogden may only purchase films screening at Ogden Peery's Egyptian Theatre.
Time slot cards will be limited to one per person. You must present a valid Utah ID in-person at the time of purchase.
If you do not have a Utah drivers' license, you will be required to present a Utah utility bill accompanied with a legal photo ID (out-of-state driver's license).
Ticket prices are $15 each.
You may purchase a maximum of 20 tickets per person, with a limit of four per screening.

At the Sundance Resort

(No need to register online!):

Simply come to the Sundance Resort Box Office on January 6 or 7, 2007 between the hours of 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM to make your purchase. Patrons at the Sundance Resort may only purchase films screening at the Sundance Resort Screening Room.
You must present a valid Utah ID in-person at the time of purchase.
If you do not have a Utah drivers' license, you will be required to present a Utah utility bill accompanied with a legal photo ID (out-of-state driver's license).
Ticket prices are $15 each.
You may purchase a maximum of 20 tickets per person, with a limit of four per screening.

BEST OF FEST TICKETS

Sundance Institute presents complimentary screenings of award-winning films following the Festival to locals in Salt Lake, Park City, Sundance Resort, and Ogden as a thank you for their support. Screenings are FREE. Tickets were previously distributed at Festival Box Offices on January 13 and 14. On day of show ONLY, wait list tickets (one per person) will be distributed at the actual theatre locations 90 min prior to the screening (Rose Wagner, Ogden, Eccles, and Sundance Resort). Patrons in the wait-list line will be admitted on a space-available basis.

LOCALS INDIVIDUAL TICKET TERMS

Purchases are limited to Utah residents 18 and older.
Time slot assignments are not transferable.
Locals' registration will be limited to one registration per person. Your registered address must MATCH the address on the valid Utah ID that you present in-person at the time of purchase in January. For example, you may not register with both a street address and a P.O. Box number, but only with the address that appears on your driver's license. If there is a mis-match, you will not be allowed to purchase tickets during Locals weekend.
Sundance reserves the right to cancel any duplicate reservations without notification.
Sundance reserves the right to prohibit any future sales during this festival and in future years to any ticket buyer who is identified as an online auction ticket reseller.
