+ MoreSundance Institute’s Utah Community Program
presents complimentary screenings of this year’s Festival favorites to Locals in Salt Lake and Summit Counties. In addition to serving as a thank you to our local community for hosting the Festival, these screenings allow many in the community to participate in our programming
who may otherwise not have an opportunity.
Because of demand, Local Lens tickets are limited to two tickets per screening. Local Lens tickets are only available for Utah Locals. Utah Locals are defined as residents with either a Utah Driver's License, Utah State ID card or Utah University ID. Upon check out, patrons will be prompted to input their permanent address to verify Utah residency. If confirmed, the price reduces to $0.
If the screening reflects sold out, we encourage patrons to join a waitlist by arriving at the theater at least 30 minutes before the screening for a chance to get tickets.
Tickets will be available starting January 14 and films will be chosen at a later date.
Sundance Institute extends its heartfelt thanks to the Sponsors and Supporters of the Utah Community Program for their generous support in making this free screening possible.
Sundance Institute’s Utah Community Program is supported by Host State State of Utah; Community Supporters Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts & Parks (ZAP); Peggy Bergmann; The Kahlert Foundation; Salt Lake City Arts Council; Salt Lake City Mayor's Office Arts, Culture, & Entertainment Grant; Major Sponsors Acura; and Adobe.
Passes will not be scanned at this screening. Passholders will need to reserve a ticket if they wish to attend any Local Lens screenings.
Please be advised that free Local Lens screenings are first come, first served. A ticket does not guarantee entry.
