Welcome to the Sundance Film Festival Press Office. Each year over 1,000 accredited journalists cover the Sundance Film Festival. Our Press Office staff is available to help our press constituency obtain what is needed to do their jobs and have a positive, productive Festival experience.

The Opening Film of the Sundance Film Festival is Mary and Max from first-time feature and Oscar-winning short filmmaker Adam Elliot. The program announcement for the 2009 Festival will be made December 3 and 4.

The deadline for applications for Press Credentials to the 2009 Sundance Film Festival was Wednesday, November 26. Applicants will be notified of their status by December 10, 2008.
