These Sponsor activities provide a great  place to take a break between screenings, check your email, learn about Sponsor initiatives, or enjoy a beverage while discussing the latest world premiere.

Did you know that Brita and Nalgene will help the 2009 festival eliminate the need for 50,000 plastic water bottles?

Americans threw away about 38 billion plastic water bottles in 2006, where the bottles could sit in landfills for up to 1,000 years before biodegrading. The environmental effects of bottled water waste are truly staggering. That’s why the 2009 Sundance Film Festival has partnered with Brita and Nalgene to support FilterForGood, a campaign to reduce plastic water bottle waste. Now we invite you to get involved, too!

The FilterForGood campaign reminds us all that together, filtered water and a reusable bottle are a greener solution to bottled water at home, on the go or even at the movies!

Thanks to Brita and Nalgene, the festival will eliminate the need for 50,000 bottles1 of water by providing attendees with limited edition 2009 Sundance Film Festival FilterForGood Nalgene bottles and hosting Brita Hydration Stations where you can fill your bottle with healthier, 4 great-tasting Brita filtered water.

When you arrive at the festival, you can pick up your green FilterForGood Nalgene bottle during Check-In or at the Brita Hydration Station located outside the lower level of the Sundance House. Don’t forget to carry it with you and refill at Brita Hydration Stations located around the festival.
