CAST Deb Margolin, Rae C Wright, Susan Ziegler Madeleine Olnek - Madeleine Olnek is a filmmaker and playwright. Her first short comedy, Hold Up, screened at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival as well as the Los Angeles Film Festival. Playwright Paula Vogel described her plays as "incredible contemporary masterpieces" in American Theater magazine. Olnek is also one of the authors of A Practical Handbook for the Actor. Countertransference won the Adrienne Shelly Award for best female director at Columbia and the Grand Jury Prize for outstanding dramatic short at Outfest.
