Agency of Time (Part 1b)

Agency of Time is a 3 tier, long-term project including digital photographs, single channel videos, and multi-channel video installations. In Part 1b, two 10 minute video loops are projected on two very widescreens. Two other loops wrap around floor to ceiling column in the center of the gallery. The content of these loops, and the design of their presentation, focuses on an awareness of perception, point of view, time, desire, and memory.
CAST

Leighton Pierce - Leighton Pierce uses film, video, photography, and sound to create experiences in transformative time. He creates multi-channel site-specific installations as well as single channel films and videos and is currently developing a series of photographic books. His award-winning short films and videos have been exhibited in major art museums and film festivals throughout the world including The Whitney Biennial , The San Francisco, New York, and Rotterdam Film Festivals.
