Patrik Eklund - Patrik Eklund is one of Sweden’s most talented and productive young directors. He was born in 1978 in northern Sweden and made his directorial debut in 2003 with the award-winning short film, One Christmas Morning. He followed that with the short Situation Frank, which screened at the Cannes International Film Festival in 2007. Instead of Abracadabra is his third short film as writer/director. Eklund is currently completing his latest short, The Surrogate, and developing his first feature-length film.
