| Sundance Film Festival plays an important role in bringing together film artists with the marketplace. Each year volumes of films made by Native American filmmakers are never seen nor make it to the marketplace. What audiences are they made for? Are those audiences being served? What kinds of films do Native filmmakers need to make in order to make it to the market place? Join representatives from distribution companies, film sales companies and the marketplace as they give insight to the complexities of selling your film and getting it seen by audiences around the world. | |

| Indigenous filmmakers are some of the youngest communities to be making films these days. Their stories are fresh, and they are endeavoring to redefine cinema from an indigenous perspective. What kinds of support programs are there for indigenous filmmakers? What festivals are screening their works? Representatives from funding agencies, support programs and film festivals come together to discuss their work in supporting and nurturing Indigenous Filmmakers. What trends are occurring with the worlds indigenous filmmakers, and where are they headed? What collaborative efforts can be shared that will create a jump forward for Indigenous Cinema to be seen on screens around the world? | |
